Who We Are

This is an independent information site about Casino World, written for players in Canada. We are not run by, owned by or connected to Casino World, FlowPlay, LLC or its parent Wind Creek Hospitality, and nobody at those companies sees our pages before they go live.

The site is small on purpose. One editor writes and checks the pages, and the same name appears at the foot of every one of them, so you always know who is answerable for what you read.

How We Check Facts

1. Primary sources first. A company's own site, a regulator's register, a game studio's official page or a press release. Other review sites are a starting point for questions, never the answer.
2. Two sources for anything that matters. Phone numbers, ownership, dates and anything involving money need a second, independent confirmation. When we can only find one, the page says so, and when sources disagree, as they do over Wolf Gold's maximum win, we print both.
3. Nothing invented. No made-up player quotes, no star ratings without data behind them, no licence numbers we can't look up.
4. Hand-set dates. Every page shows when it was published, when the text last changed, and when the facts were last checked. The dates are typed in, not generated by the server.
5. Re-checks. Every page is re-verified at least every 90 days, and sooner when something changes: a new owner, a new app version, a new rule in a province.

How We Fix Mistakes

We get things wrong sometimes. When that happens:

• We check the report against the source

  Within a few working days of hearing about it, we go back to the primary source rather than taking either side's word for it.

• We fix the text and move the date

  The "Updated" date at the foot of the page changes only when the text really changes, so a new date always means something was corrected or added.

• We say what changed when it matters

  If a correction changes a verdict, a score or a number you might have acted on, the page says what it used to say, so nobody is left wondering.

Scoring Criteria and Weights

We use one safety scorecard for every product, with the weights fixed in advance. Each criterion is scored from 1 to 5, and the total is the weighted average. You can see it applied in Is Casino World safe?
