Casino World is owned and operated by FlowPlay, LLC, the Seattle studio whose name sits in the footer of casinoworld.com. FlowPlay itself is a subsidiary of Wind Creek Hospitality, which bought it in December 2021. Wind Creek is the gaming authority of the Poarch Band of Creek Indians, the only federally recognized tribe in Alabama. So the chain runs: Casino World, then FlowPlay, then Wind Creek, then the tribe.

FlowPlay, the studio
FlowPlay was set up in Seattle in 2006 by Derrick Morton and Doug Pearson. It started with virtual worlds and moved into social casino games, where it built its best-known titles: Vegas World, Casino World and 7 Seas Casino. Casino World arrived in 2020. Wind Creek Hospitality, the parent
On December 22, 2021, Wind Creek Hospitality announced it had acquired FlowPlay. The price was not disclosed. FlowPlay kept its name, its Seattle office and its leadership, with Morton staying on as CEO. For Wind Creek, which runs land-based casinos and racetracks in several U.S. states and the Caribbean, the deal was a way into free-to-play games and the steady income from in-app purchases.
The Poarch Band of Creek Indians
Wind Creek Hospitality is an authority of the Poarch Band of Creek Indians, based in Atmore, Alabama. In practical terms, that makes the tribe the ultimate owner of Casino World, though the game is run day to day by FlowPlay's own team.
